What KeepFinding stores
KeepFinding stores your account details, saved links and their metadata, notes, highlights, reading progress, list prompts, preferences, and conversations with the assistant to provide those features. Guest libraries are also stored on the server and are associated with a cookie in your browser. If you provide an AI API key, KeepFinding stores it for server-side requests until you remove it in Settings.
Google sign-in
Google sign-in uses your Google account identifier, email address, and name to create or connect your KeepFinding account and confirm sensitive account actions. It requests the openid, email, and profile scopes. It does not request access to your Gmail, Google Drive files, or contacts. Google access tokens and refresh tokens are not stored.
KeepFinding's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Pages and AI features
KeepFinding fetches public pages you save to obtain preview metadata and readable article content. It also searches for and fetches new links for discovery lists. Depending on the feature, your settings, and service availability, relevant saved content, metadata, and prompts are sent to Anthropic to organize links, generate summaries and suggestions, build lists, or answer questions. Information you include in a prompt can be part of that processing.
Cookies, hosting, and security
Cookies keep you signed in, identify a guest library, and protect sign-in flows. Browser storage remembers preferences such as appearance and dismissed notices. KeepFinding is hosted on Railway. Requests also provide technical information, including IP addresses, used for security, rate limiting, and operating the service.
Sharing
A list becomes public only when you choose to share or publish it. Sharing can make its name and prompt public; publishing its links also includes link addresses and titles. Private notes, highlights, and reading history are not included in the public snapshot.
Export and deletion
Settings provides a JSON export and account deletion. You can archive links and delete them permanently from Archive. Deleting your account removes it and its associated library data from the active service. Operational backups can retain copies until those backups are removed or rotated; deletion does not immediately erase backup copies.
Content-free AI usage records retain an account reference, model, token counts, and cost for spending limits, and are purged by age. They do not contain saved links or chat text.
Extension and contact
The browser extension has a separate extension privacy page. For questions about KeepFinding or this policy, email fainir2006@gmail.com. Do not send passwords, recovery codes, or private saved content. Changes to this policy will be published here with an updated date.
