KeepFinding
For Chrome and Chromium browsers

Found something?
Keep it for later.

Articles, videos, podcasts, and everything in between. Send the link to KeepFinding, then find it in Saved when you have time.

Add to Chrome

Three ways to save

The page you are on

Click the KeepFinding toolbar icon, or press Alt+Shift+S (Option+Shift+S on Mac). KeepFinding opens in a new tab and saves the link. If asked to confirm, choose Save link.

A link you have spotted

Right-click the link and choose Save link to KeepFinding.

A few links at once

Select text containing web addresses, right-click, and choose Save links in selection to KeepFinding. Save up to 40 links at a time.

Make yourself at home

Pin Save to KeepFinding from Chrome's extensions menu so it is always one click away. It uses the KeepFinding account signed in to the same browser. Without an account, your first save starts a guest library in that browser.

The extension only handles the pages and links you choose to save. It does not read passwords, cookies, or your browsing history. Read the extension privacy policy.

If the icon shows an exclamation mark, hover over it for the reason. Browser settings, new tabs, and local files cannot be saved. If the shortcut is already in use, change it in Chrome's extension keyboard shortcuts.

Need help? Use the developer contact on the Chrome Web Store listing. Do not include private links or account details.

Manual install and self-hosting
  1. Download the extension and unzip it.
  2. Open chrome://extensions, turn on Developer mode, and choose Load unpacked.
  3. Select the save-to-keepfinding folder and pin the toolbar icon.

For your own KeepFinding server, open the extension's options and enter its HTTPS origin. HTTP localhost works for development. Self-hosted and unpacked installations may ask you to confirm the save.
